These 12 sonatas are among op.2 op.5 and Handel (1685-1759 and were selected from among the dozen trio sonatas composed especially during his early years. They are involved with those of Bach, to the apogee of this kind will disappear after 1750.
As for the 12 sonatas of Corelli Op .3 (in the same collection), one of the two upper voices is entrusted to the flute, the other to the right hand of the piano's bass voice is played the left hand, without realization of the basso continuo. This principle of transcription has been suggested by the rigors of writing for three voices and rich resonance of piano performance it is clearer and easier.
